Thanks everyone for the encouragement! I'm really crossing fingers that this one is a successful vbac but also a quick delivery!

Just like @creativemamma15 and @irunforfun stated, a lot of moms of 3 told me that the 3rd came the fastest! But my doctor has been always the cautious type and she told me: "1st usually takes their time, second comes out faster, and third usually has a mind of its own and can go either way."

hopefully not the long way :D

I want to echo what justjules said about having had a vaginal delivery and subsequent success being likely! A pelvic floor physiotherapist I spoke to talked about muscle memory and said your body usually has no issue.

I have only had one vbac, but both my labours were 9 hours until pushing and my vbac was 11 hours total from when my water broke and first contractions until the baby came out. So, sort of middle of the road length of labour I feel.

Good luck!

I haven’t had a second VBAC but wanted to encourage you with two quick notes. One- once you have a vaginal delivery your chances of having another VBAC go way up. And second- my VBAC labor was 30hours so don’t let a long labor scare you away from tolac

I wish you a healthy delivery- however it happens

Not me personally, but I had a doula client who had 2 VBACs. First labor failed to progress, second labor was a VBAC with an epidural, third labor was a natural VBAC - and short, she was 9 cm upon arriving at the hospital and started pushing 15 mins later!

I had a 2nd VBAC! With my first vbac my labor was about 6 hours long start to delivery and I had an epidural . With my second vbac it was about 3.5 hours from first contraction to delivery. We were only at the hospital for about 45 minutes so I didn’t have an epidural with her. It was wonderful! Good luck with your delivery!

Eta: my first LO was breech & csection and delivered at 36 weeks because my water broke.
LO2 & 3 were both delivered at 38 weeks.

My first (girl) was 41 weeks, induced, labored 24 hours with pitocin, progressed to 9cm, and then got stuck for 4 hours before they pushed me to csection. No regrets. Easy recovery and although it did take a little while for milk to come in, BF was fine.

2nd (boy) i went into really fast labor at 38 weeks where they basically told me to push when I got to the hospital. So med-free vbac. Physical recovery was harder, milk came in faster, and BF was fine.

3rd (Girl) is happening sometime soon 4ish weeks left if I go full term. Wondering if anyone has any experience with 3rd birth? I'm hoping my vbac wasn't a fluke bc he came so early and fast and I can do it again. Preferably fast labor like last time
