They do occasionally watch youtube but they want either car racing videos (hot wheels tracks), domino building, or documentaries. I don't like to just let them sit and watch, there is so much questionable stuff that can come up - once we were watching spider videos together and the guy who was filming his home spider colony (or something) suddenly said "this f***ing sucks!" The channel is called Twentytrucks. They have like 50 videos of different kinds of trucks, construction equipment, etc. Each video has its own song and the videos are like 3 min long. The songs are total earworms. We try to save them for difficult moments, lol. He would navigate from video to video and I found it really hard to monitor what he saw. He LOVED unboxing and surprise egg videos for a while but now can only play iPad games, watch Blaze or watch a show. He knows how to navigate it himself so sometimes he gets into the stuff with real toys. Not the unboxing videos, from what Ive seen. We started him watching youtube in the car or wherever we were desperate, with songs. He's totally addicted, he knows how to open youtube on my phone within 5 seconds. And often will find my phone lying around and go to town! I would love to cut him cold turkey.
