I stayed home after LO#2 and that is the only reason we could even think about LO#3. I will probably go back to work when LO#3 is in kindergarden or first grade.

Mr. Jacks went back to work 5 months after our second daughter was born. Lala had started school and we found that it made more sense for him to jump into the job market at that point with #1 transitioning to school.

At first we found ourselves longing for the flexibility of having him at home, but we quickly found that the girls thrived on the routine that having him at work provided.

I say go for it! It's taxing to transition, but the reward was so great in the end (and the extra cash didn't hurt either!)

I would like to at some point ... but the stars would have to align (right opportunity, right pay, right time) and I don't see that happening anytime soon. More likely scenario is that I continue to freelance for awhile, and maybe get serious about going back once first LO is school age.

I mostly hear about working moms SAHing after LO2 bc of high daycare costs, but I'm considering going back to work AFTER LO2. With LO2 coming, I feel like I need to be able to take care of my family should anything happen to DH.

Anybody else have similar thoughts? And working moms of 2, how do you make it work?
