Umm I love seeing positive change, being able to be someone in their lives who takes them seriously and who they feel supports them, i LOVE getting to know them and learning about them..I find their minds so interesting and it's always about learning something new which is great.. </p> <p>That said, it can be frustrating working with parents (b/c you inevitably have to deal with the parents) who dont understand the process/just want you to 'fix' their kid/aren't invested in the process..and hard to work with kids with difficult home situations cos you can sometimes feel like they're working so hard but just going back into a toxic environment which is hard. And it always being challenging makes it difficult at times because it can be hard to feel competent.
