I really need to work on our kit, we have a half-assed one in our house and I have an emergency bag with diapers, wipes, some formula in case I'm not around to breastfeed, water, and jarred food for DD in the car. Then I got some water packets and dog food kits from Amazon. I have some wind-up emergency flashlight and radio units that I picked up on Woot. </p> <p>We live near an 'active' volcano and also in an area where earthquakes can happen. Lived in the PNW for 5 years and have luckily never had to deal with any emergencies like that. While my family on the east coast, felt that tiny earthquake a few years ago.
