I can live with the bronze ones like you showed (I have them in the master closet and hallway) but the main upstairs landing has super brassy very pointy nippled boob lights. Blergh. </p> <p>We also have really low ceilings- 7.5 feet. So anything higher than 6 inches would make a weirdly low fixture. </p> <p>We are replacing the hall ones with a small linen durum type one, similar to this one from Lowe’s. And we are replacing the large boob light in the kitchen with the second one. Both are low profile enough to not be weird or low but nicer looking, I hope. Now my kitchen light will always be a boob to me :)</p> <p>Kind of looks like something close to the ceiling would fit better than a bunch of pendant lights. I've found some nifty ones on lampsplus.com (especially Possini Euro Lilypad) and lightology.com (especially Clizia Mini Ceiling). Also some pretty basic, but pretty designs like Krius 3 Light Spot Spiral.
