We went to Mexico around that age, also for a vacation and it was a blast! That was the perfect age to travel...

Does he have a lovie / blankie that he likes to go to sleep with? You MUST bring that on your carry on.

We had this tier container that looks like this (we don't have this exact product but ours looked like that), which you can put formula in in its correction proportion and mix it when needed. Of course, pack bottles filled with the right amount of water in your bag for your flight:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/111289058455?lpid=82&chn=ps

We didn't use disposable nipples but we were also partially breastfed back then. If you are not bringing disposable bottles then make sure you bring detergent and what not with you. And oh how nice you don't need to bring the pump!!!

For solids I brought along squeezies and a spoon on the plane. So if he doesn't finish it I can close it and keep going. I brought along bottled purees too in the luggage for the trip.

You may need to equip yourself with an ipad for the long flight. I carried with me a bunch of books, but those are heavy and can only last so long. We only pull out the ipad when it was absolutely necessary (eg. when a meltdown is about to happen)

Bring extra changes of clothes for you and LO on the flight cuz blow outs usually happen at the time when it shouldn't be happening.

We also brought a tent with us so LO could nap on the beach! It actually worked out quite perfectly - we just put him in the tent with some towels during naptime, and he napped while we chilled out. It was quite perfect.

Then of course you want some floating device to put your LO in when in the pool and such. You may also figure out if you want to bring beach toys but I think your resort may provide it.

Other than that, hat and sunblock and bug spray?

Then of course don't forget to bring things like the thermometer and tylenol and such just in case.

I can only think of so much right now... Wow, so much fun!! I am so jealous!!!

We went to Mexico when LO was that age! He was also formula fed. I used the playtex drop in bottles so we only had to "wash" the nipples. I agree with PP to only use/drink bottled water. I actually used pacifier wipes to "wash" the nipples and then rinsed them with bottled water. I think it was definitely worth getting those bottles. We also got an umbrella stroller that we used in the airport and resort and it was ideal. I definitely would bring some little snacks for the flight, something like puffs are great to keep them busy. We also brought some pouches of baby food just because we weren't sure what he would be able to eat from the resort and I was paranoid about some of the fruit/veggies.

We had a blast, we went with another couple who have a LO who is 7 months older than ours. The boys were really cute together. Relax and have fun! Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions :)

I would buy the disposable nipples and just pack them in my suitcase. Also, I highly recommend in drinking bottled water or juice made with mineral water while you're there. My aunt lives there and she brushes her teeth with drinking water. Something about their tap water I forget what she said. I would wash any of your baby's bottles or dishes with drinking water just to be on the safe side.

Were taking lo on vacation with us this month to mexico. Looking for any advice to make things easier/must haves to take along. Plane ride etc..Were staying at an all inclusive resort.... He is formula fed, and I'm wondering if they make disposable nipples for the pre made kind in bottles? Also, best way to keep him busy on the beach (will be shaded) without getting too much sand in the mouth??
