One of DD's favorite bath toys is this bath coloring set; on nights when she doesn't want a bath, I bribe her with these, lol.

@blushink: oh! i see. you could try some of mr. bee's tactics?

http://www.hellobee.com/2012/01/13/how-to-get-a-reluctant-toddler-to-take-a-bath/

i just waited it out and she hated her bath for about a month and then got over it.

@Andrea: I unfortunately can't shower with him, and the hubs is working so he can't either. I'm super pregnant, and Mavrick doesn't want to go in the shower alone. I can give it a try again though.

@artbee: The reason he slipped is because I removed the mat to clean it (and forgot to put it back) he still doesn't speak (but understands) so maybe I can give it a try. I'm really desperate so anything right now seems better than what I've been doing.

Could you get a non slip mat and tell him its a special mat that will keep him from slipping?

If he likes the shower, I would just go with that. Otherwise, he will probably forget the incident in about a month. My LO recently pooped in the bath and she was pretty scarred for about a month but then she forgot about it and likes her bath again.

Any tips on how to make Mavrick love baths again? A couple of weeks ago he slipped in the bath and he really got scared. Now he cries every time I put him in the bath.

It's not as bad when I give him a bath but if it's anyone else, you'd seriously think this child was in pain.

I tried taking a bath with him, giving him new toys but he still refuses to bathe.

Marc usually takes a shower with him so he's never taken one alone. Should I try that and slack off on the baths?

He loved bath time. This makes me so sad. I hope we find a way for him to love them again.
