She would usually pass out and take a nap in there. Worked like a charm for us. We go in his room, turn off the light, and turn on mellow music (for some reason, "Highway Don't Care" by Tim McGraw works like a charm!) and dance. I hold him really tight and kiss his head. He calms immediately and is asleep within 2-3 songs. Worked for my LO. Didn't necessarily make him go to sleep right away but calmed him down. Will your lil guy relax if you lay him on your chest and rub his back? I thought my brain was going to explode I was so stressed. He lived! I remember stop/starting the brakes at stoplights because stopping completely would wake him up (if he had actually fallen asleep in the first place). Then we start over again and try the sleep tricks. Or if he's just not having it, I sit down on the glider and hold him, talk to him and let him cry. He hates pacifiers, so no dice there. My bag of tricks is empty, but I've still got a screaming kidlet on my shoulder while I wear a path walking down our hallway over and over. I'm so sad for my little guy. Help! </p>
