Last time we grew strawberries, carrots, onions, zucchini, basil, roma tomatoes and bell peppers. That's it so far! All were already partly grown. We started with plants rather than seeds. I'm buying tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini as plants and seeding peas, carrots and maybe corn and potatoes. Oh, and buying herbs plants too. I basically have no idea what I'm doing but FIL grew up in a farming family and is helping us as we go. Last year was our first attempt at growing some of our own food, and it went okay. WAY too many zucchini plants! And a lot of our seeds didn't germinate, then some seedlings didn't make during the transplant.</p> <p>We're planning to plant crookneck squash, zucchini, acorn squash, carrots, sweet peppers, watermelon, cilantro, basil, parsley, eggplant, tomatoes... I think that's it?</p> <p>I'd love to connect to some fellow gardening bees -- I need all the help I can get! What are you planting? </p>
