I don't think it would be regularly as bad (traffic right outside DC is bad every. day, haha, but there could always be bad days. I went to UVA and Culpeper is about halfway between Arlington and Charlottesville, so we used to stop there for food :-) and traffic in No.Va. can be pretty terrible. My Nana lived in Woodbridge and it would take us an hour to get there in rush hour traffic. Plus, the housing there is some of the priciest in the area because of its proximity to DC. We love where we live right now, but we've been itching for a change of pace so we're thinking this might be a good opportunity to experience a new area without making an indefinite change.</p> <p>My question: Do you recommend any particular towns/neighborhoods to live around that area? I was looking at Woodbridge and the surrounding communities but really have nothing to go off of other than how the schools are rated. We also have family in Arlington and Alexandria, but I have no concept of how far that would be for DH to commute down to Quantico... TIA!! :) </p>
