My brother used to call sour cream and onion chips "grass chips" and I still think of that when I see them! I can't think of any for my own LO right now.

It's not quite the same, but most of the German words I know come from my kids or from kid-related things.

We have a lot of conversations about "baginas".
Mommy has a bagina, Nola has a bagina, baby sister has a bagina, Daddy doesn't have a bagina - he has peanuts.

Kinda regretting using anatomically correct names.

My mom always tells me to write their words down and I never remember to. I wish I had been.

My kids used to butcher the English language in the most adorable ways. Bee and I would use the kids' versions of words between us and it would always bring a smile to our face. But it's been a few years since then, and actually I can't remember any of the word butcherings that they used to do! Should've written them down.

On a less unique front, I got a cut the other day and told my son that I had a booboo. He's almost 7, so I should probably just use the word "cut." Ahhhh, I can't believe the kids are growing up so fast, and I'm already forgetting some of my favorite parts of their childhood!

Have you picked up any words or phrases from your kids?
