My son always refused to sleep in it. I hadn't considered that it might be difficult to find sheets etc. Good point!! my DS is quite small for his age (not tall, 25 lbs at 26 months) and DD is small so far (almost 8 lbs at 4 weeks old) so I don't think we would outgrow it quickly. </p> <p>Thanks ladies! Sheets were a pain to find, but otherwise, it was perfect. We stopped using the bassinet for a while and then had to use the PnP on vacation and I was really worried that he'd hate it. I almost ordered an extra mattress pad on amazon. I hadn't thought about that. The mattress seems super uncomfortable but there is a place here that cuts dense foam for PnPs. I feel like a proper mattress is better for her back but I don't know. I would just use that until you're ready to transition your DS. My LO used the PnP bassinet until about 7 months old. One used it for at least a year and was happy- average size baby. One had a super tall baby who outgrew it by four months or something crazy.
