It was a little tough for a while, but she adjusted pretty quickly. </p> <p>If things are working fine now, that's great! LO just one day decided she hated being swaddled and would scream and scream everytime we wrapped her up. It took us a bit to figure out what was going on, but once we did, she was easier to put down again. Getting a good night sleep is important. You'll know when she is ready to stop being swaddled. My little guy stopped to like being swaddled at about 8 weeks, he's now 13 weeks, and it didn't effect how he sleeps. Dd is also 6 months and also sleeps better swaddled. I go between stressing that I'm somehow harming her (mom guilt is never ending, huh? :() and telling myself its most important that she gets a good sleep. We didn't push it. We swaddled him until he was almost 7 months. We started out just leaving one hand free and then moved him to sleep sacks. Good luck! She wanted her hands and we slowly went from swaddling them up by her face to out completely. We tried to swaddle them back up and she freaked so were on sleep sacks only. She's 6 months and doesn't roll in her sleep. Maybe we just won't swaddle wean? Last night we did one arm free and she went from 1 wake up at 4-6 a.m. for a bottle to waking 5 times, 4 of which were just for a paci. </p>
