Thanks, all. Gonna try twisting the buckle to see. I guess because the Radian sits so low it can be hard to get it tight enough and that can help sometimes, from what I read. Sigh. Hope it helps.

So annoyed at Honda's 65 pound seat+kid LATCH weight limit.

Can you try to twist the buckle part of the belt (not sure what it's called but the part the shoulder side clicks into). Sometimes there is a bit of slack there. We had ours inspected and the guy showed us how twisting that part of the belt once or twice got it much tighter.

I had this issue! I had to pull the shoulder belt all the way out til it clicked and made the weird whizzy noise as it rolled back in to lock it. No movement after I figured that out lol

Have any tricks to share with me? We're finally flipping our son's Radian RXT FF and I'm having a hell of a time getting a tight enough install in our CR-V. I'm using the belt instead of LATCH weight limits. The belt is locking, I'm trying to get every last bit of slack by putting all of my weight into the seat ... it's still moving a couple inches at the belt path at least :-(
