A new aquarium is opening in Portland soon too and would be super fun to go to. Lots of wineries in Beaverton and the surrounding areas and if you're into Beer at all we have great microbrews everywhere. We were on a trip there when we found out we were pregnant :) Our favorite things to do were hit up all the amazing food trucks and we did a SUPER long walk (which you can access by car or bus if you don't want to do the trek) from the Zoo all the way to the Japanese gardens. Perfect long walk in nice weather and the gardens were really beautiful. Voo Doo donuts for sure--get the maple bacon. There's also The Edgefield McMenamins in Troutdale. Lots of good food here and most restaurants are pretty kid friendly. It's pretty easy to get around the city even without a car. It's amazing and is literally the size of a city block. You get a map when you walk in the door. </p> <p>Portland is famous for good brunch. My favorite is Cup and Saucer, and there are a few locations. If you go there, get the scones! </p> <p>The Alberta Arts District is a great place to walk around.
