Definitely not warm enough for a NE winter. I'd say it's more of a cold fall-ish coat or a California winter. I guess you could layer it and it might work. I don't know because our winters are pretty mild here in CA! I had her wear it over a striped long sleeve shirt, jeans and booties and it was one of my fave outfits. He's been wearing the same size for a while so with clearances sales and hand-me-downs, we have tons of choices for him. </p> <p>LMW, however, either wears one of his old gender-neutral Gap hoodies or one of two thin cotton hoodies I bought for late summer. :( So I need to get shopping.</p> <p>I just ordered a dressy fall jacket from ebay and I have a hand-me-down casual winter coat for daycare, so I need to fill in the holes that are left!</p> <p>What I need are:<br /> 1) a casual fall jacket (maybe a zippered fleece?) for daycare.. something durable that I can wash multiple times a week<br /> 2) a dressy winter coat (maybe a peacoat?).</p> <p>I'm SERIOUSLY picky when it comes to her clothes. And I like for Wagon Sr. to really love the clothes too, and he can be pretty picky as well. Here are some of our preferences:</p> <p>Colors we don't like: pink, purple, or brown (but accents of pink are ok)<br /> Colors we do like: red, navy, khaki / light beige, black, white<br /> Wagon Sr. loves hoods<br /> No animal print<br /> We like the "little lady" look</p> <p>Since we know she won't fit in these coats next year, we'd love to keep it under $15 and we don't mind used. So I've been trolling ebay all day and I'm just getting confused. </p> <p>And... go!! </p>
