A friend signed up for life insurance while she was pregnant. We both had no issue although she mentioned that her weight at 8 months pregnant was borderline "obese" by standard BMI tables and if she had been above a certain amount that might have caused a problem. They pulled our medical records and took blood and urine samples and tested our BP. I had no pregnancy complications and a clean history. I think both go into affect when I will be around 30 weeks. I have to get an exam, but the nurse told me it would be no problem when we spoke the other day, that they would just note I am pregnant. We'll see! </p> <p>FWIW our life insurance is through my job and DH's job.
