I never thought to...I would dye them as well. I mean, hello? There is dye in everything we wear pretty much! I'd just make sure to wash them 2-3c before baby came so the dye would be washed out and the color would be stable. We are on a pretty strict budget as the weeks count down to her arrival, so I was thinking about making my own muslin blankets.
