I can't wait until I'm to that point where I can actually eat that much! Right now, I'm lucky if I can eat anything!

I also brought a HUGE bag of snacks with my to work today. There is absolutely nothing healthy in there. Not one thing.

@winniebee- that doesn't sound so bad! However, I know toward the end of my pregnancy the doctor advised me to try to restrict my sugary treats. Apparently sugar is like a growth hormone for babies. Eck! Just a friendly warning :)

I would take a reusable grocery bag stuffed with food and snacks! I would also take it home so I could snack during my drive home!

I used to bring a big bag with me to work stuffed with snacks. But over the past 3 weeks I don't have as big of an appetite. (I'm 32 wks). I can't eat as much as I used to because I get stuffed so quickly and then my stomach feels too tight. I had a bowl of cereal at 8 and am finally eating again (a bowl of oatmeal with honey and almonds) at noon.

@chopsuey119: This is my *work week* food intake. It's a free for all on the weekends! Also, even though healthy, I am too scared to add up the list of food to see how many calories I'm consuming!

@BabyLove: Thanks! There is always a dessert after lunch and dinner, too, so not always soooo healthy : ) Lunch is usually just a piece of chocolate or a cookie. After dinner, I usually have a small bowl of ice cream. Lately, obsessed with Ben and Jerry's banana split ice cream....

I'm not pregnant now but I do recall always coming to work with a TON of snacks, but not necessarily the healthiest ones. I felt so ridiculous but it beat the alternative- being hungry all day. The great thing about your list of snacks, is that they're healthy, so rock on.

Yeah, my lunch box is pretty embarrassing :/ And I'm totally noticing a difference in our grocery bill since becoming pregnant. I really hope my appetite returns to normal once the baby is here and I'm done breastfeeding!

When I was pregnant, I was ALWAYS eating and my friends would ask me what was in my "fridge" that day - that being my ginormous lunch bag. I'd eat like, six pieces of fruit, veggies and dip, leftover pizza, crackers, and half a bagel in one sitting! It was crazy! Luckily, my hunger tapered off a little. Whew!

I am sooo hungry lately (25.5 wks!) The lunches that I'm bringing to work these days are enormous. Today:

(Mind you, I already ate a bowl of cereal, OJ, and coffee, before I left the house).

- pig's fly bread (for toast)
- banana
- apple
- chobani yogurt
- tuna sandwich
- chips
- pickles
- V8
- nuts
- pita chips
- hummus
- water

I can barely carry it all! Also, I have snacks in my drawer in case of emergency (fiber one bars, goldfish, crackers, girl scout cookies, candy...)
