But then my lines started getting lighter at 6 weeks and I freaked out, Started googling and found that tests can get lighter when HCG gets too high and that if you actually dilute your pee they get dark again. But then, I'd had a CP a few months before that I saw disappear on the tests (as well as having it confirmed wiht blood work . It made me feel comforted to continue seeing the positives for a few days. After that I started doing beta blood work and gave up on the test.
