Time change has never affected my LO. We stick to the same schedule, it always worked out somehow.

DS is usually up between 5:30-6, so it can be rough for a couple days. But I find with going to daycare he gets back on schedule pretty fast, might just be a tired couple days.

A few days later we are taking a trip and will be in a different time zone so I'm not even going to worry about it this year.

Haven't thought about it, DD is pretty set on 6:30
Even if bed time is 7,7:30, or 8.... hopefully she adjusts!!!!

The older kid is more adaptable and sleeps until 7 most days so if we have a few days of 6, no biggie. But the baby is usually up around 615 or 630 and keeping him up late doesn't typically work so I'm just resigned to having 5 am wakes for a few days until we can reset.

We'll just do what we did last year-keep her up late, run her into the ground, and let her sleep in and reset

Yea. My LO reliably wakes between 6-6:30 which is great because I need to leave by 7:15. But I'm not going to be happy if she starts waking at 5 am...

I'm dreading it. I went back to work this week and our schedule is working at the moment. If I can't adjust baby's schedule he'll be going to sleep 10 minutes after I get home from work.

Yup yup yup. I am not looking forward to it. Last year I didn't do any bedtime adjustments and just dealt with early wakeups for a couple of days. I'll do the same this year but I am really hoping he gets used to it quickly.

I really didn't think about this! but - LO had a weird weekend where we were out later than usual so he was in bed later and waking up later. I was thinking about starting to wake him up to get him back on schedule but now i'll just let him stay at it so the time change won't totally mess us up! Hate this time change!

i have high hopes it will go well. LO has been going to bed later since we moved, so if we can push it back, that will be fantastic. And this week he has been sleeping in until 7:15am. Normally, i would wake him sooner to get ready for daycare, but i've been letting him sleep and having crazy rushed mornings in hopes that he will still sleep in at least until 6 or 630 after the time change. fingers crossed!

As if on cue, my 2.5 year old boys, chronic early wakers, have been waking up at 5:05-5:15 the past two weeks...gee, can't wait until next week when it will be 4:15 wake ups! Anyone else that can commiserate? Last year we tried gradually making bedtime later starting two weeks before, but we still got 4:30 wake ups for a couple of weeks after. This year I'll probably just throw my hands up and make more coffee.
