And the witching hour made its first appearance today, too.</p> <p>I guess the benefit of being a STM is I got through today by looking at pictures of DD1 from 6mo-1yr ago, which reminded me how fast time goes and how everything, including the tedious newborn days, is a phase. It was so blah! But at almost 7 weeks, I'm feeling more excited - she's smiling more and hopefully at the tail end of the growth spurt! Anyone else feel this way? </p> <p>Oh sure I still have those magic moments when I stare at her while she's sleeping, or feel her warm head underneath my chin when I'm holding her over my shoulder, but I am more than tired...I'm worn out by the tedium of baby care. As a STM none of this should be a surprise, but yet it is. </p>
