And I in ny way regret letting her fall asleep on me all those months when she was a baby...if I had only known that's all I would get I would have let her do it even longer before moving her to bed. Whenever I rock her, she points to her crib. Otherwise, he will only fall asleep in bed, or in his car seat. My LO is 15 months old now and she NEVER wants to sleep in my arms. DD is 19 months and I can count on one hand the number of times DD has fallen asleep in my arms (with the exception of being nursed to sleep). The only way she will fall asleep is in a dark room with no distractions. It doesn't matter how tired she is :-( I feel like I'm missing out on great cuddle time.
