I worried terribly with my second pregnancy. I was just too aware of all the bad things that could happen...I didn't with worry to the point that I couldn't enjoy the pregnancy but I definitely worried.

I did- I was very sick for both of kiddos, plus experienced a loss in between (right before I got pregnant with J). I did feel better once we had a few scans and did testing though.

Also it is NORMAL to be worried about your kids- it means you love them and you want to be a great mom. I still worry about my three year old's andmy seven month old's survival. Both of them tried to eat a balloon at the park this week. Motherhood is like 50% googling things and calling your pediatrician with ridiculous questions.

It's probably not want you want to hear, but yes I worried my way through the first trimester and I'm still worrying now we'll into the second trimester. However, I have a history of loss and this pregnancy has been complicated. My experience is not the average and I think many find increasing amounts of relief as each milestone is passed. One thing that does help me is focusing on what I have right now and how much I love my baby, whatever happens.

I feel guilty for worrying because I feel like the negativity is going to manifest something. Jeez. I just want to be happy and find all the joy. 😬

@CatchAFallingStar: I showed super early with my second, and I felt really sick during the first tri. I worried whenever I had a "good" day! I just tried to focus more on DD, and the time went by MUCH quicker the second time.

I am a worrier by nature, and I worried a lot with my last pregnancy. I thought it would never go away, but it definitely did - especially after the first tri, and once I got a bump, and felt kicks I was totally fine. The first tri I refused to even jump rope or run in my excercise classes. By about 16 weeks in I was comfortable in knowing my limits again.

I told myself this time around that I wouldn't worry myself sick in the first trimester like I did with DD. Yet, here I am worrying about each little cramp, twinge, pinch, etc. and then I Google and get even more worried about what could go wrong. I just want to enjoy this pregnancy and not worry about each stage. Are you a big worrier? How did you get yourself through the first trimester without going nuts? I think I might feel more relaxed after the first ultrasound. Sure hope so!!
