We switched daycares in November, so we're getting hit with new colds and viruses. It feels like all of the immunity we worked on for the past two years is being tested at the new place. My youngest has a cold right now while the eldest is getting over croup. My DH and I have had the stomach flu and colds too.

We've had a stretch of this in our house since October with my 2.5 year old, and I'm really hoping it's not becoming a norm. She was rarely sick in the first 2 years, and then this fall she's been on and off sick with something nearly non-stop. My theory has been it's because we moved to a larger daycare (she was in a small in-home daycare before with only 4 other kids) and it's easy to cycle things in a larger group, plus my husband and I picked stuff up from her as well so it's just been a cycle of us moving germs back and forth. Right now my husband and the kid are both on antibiotics for sinus infections. No advice here, I think it's probably typical, especially with siblings, and if you're in school or daycare, even more so. Hang in there!

My nearly 3 yo twins seem to get colds, coughs and other junk easily. They are both on their second cold/cough/fever this month! It feels like they get better for like four days and then one gets it again, followed by the other. There has been one or the other sick with only brief breaks since the start of November...it feels like every year it's like this! For like five months. One got tubes put in in early December but has still had two colds/coughs since (no ear infections though). Any advice? Or commiserators? My mom thinks it's really weird that they get sick so much.
