I'm in the "love" camp when it comes to house hunters. They did a "casting" in my area, and one of the requirements is that you need to be under contract or have made an offer on a property to be on the show. My friend said that he had already purchased the home when they filmed HH. I'm not sure if they were in escrow or if they already had the keys, but it was a done deal and they just went to 2 other properties to make comments. </p> <p>I do agree that it is more interesting to see homes in other countries... So it's a bit fake.</p> <p>I'm more into HGTV than Food Network. I don't care for a lot of the FN shows anymore except for Chuck's Day Off and Jamie at Home(?), oh and Top Chef.
