We were able to use much of the banner my friend made for my baby shower for the birthday banner. And she offered to take that on and make the chalkboard one year stat. So that's a huge load off my shoulders.</p> <p>The tissue poms just aren't coming out the way I want but they still look good. Going to finish that off and work more on the personalized party hats tonight. </p> <p>@artbee: not as concerned about aesthetics any more rather just more room for the guests to spread out. And the fact that we will have 6 adults and 7 kids staying here on the weekend! The handyman ripped off the wall paper but then had personal family problems so he couldn't put the wallpaper back up. My FIL will be putting the door moldings on.
