And @ZBUG - me too! I have moved into the 'whatever works' philosophy and will never leave! It feels good. :)

Does anyone else wonder how it could be that so many babies fight naps and refuse to sleep? I mean, I just don't get how they *should* be sleeping X amount of time and so many of them don't. I mean you can't force a baby to sleep.

Just a rant from a mom who has given up on any ideas about sleep.

Babies are insane. Naps are awesome!! I gave up and took her around the block in the ergo. It looks like I'm going to embrace the "whatever works" philosophy forever.

My 10.5 month old fights his second nap most days! Unless he had a really early 1st nap.

My LO fights every single nap ever!! Today, at daycare, she had one 35 minute nap in the middle of the day - she's 9.5 months. She's so tired by bedtime, she can barely drink her bedtime bottle. I wish I had some advice for you..... but I haven't got a clue!!

We shoot for a loose 2-3-4 schedule, but my seven month old has been fighting her second nap hard all week. She goes down fairly easy for first nap and sleeps 1.5-2 hours, this second nap is killer though. I've been trying to get her to sleep for an hour, and she's currently singing to herself in her crib.

Anyone experience this? It's starting to mess with bedtime. Looks like I will be busting out the ergo again.
