Hi. So if you have any apps running on your phones that will cause it. Also emails coming can effect it too. It's odd. Oh and I've taken my monitor to my parents house and it completely shuts down their internet. They have a cordless phone and they interfere with each other.
So shutting down all apps running on the internet a on phones, TV, things like that might help.

I also can't have the handheld and my cell phone next to each other so I lay my phone on the floor by my bed and the monitors on my night stand

ours will lose signal if someone is streaming something onto the tv with chromecast. even if the chromecast is left connected but not streaming anything it causes these issues so i usually have to make sure to disconnect it. but it doesn't seem likely in your case at 3 in the morning but maybe something like that?

Ours has been doing that too and is also about three years old. It hasn't happened at night, but usually when the kids are falling asleep. We've been having other issues with it too and with a newborn and a toddler I think we will be looking into a new monitor.

Ours is also three years old and JUST started doing this. Not every night, but it's happend probably twice in the last month. The only solution I've found is to turn off the camera and turn it back on.... but I'm not going into LO's room to do that in the middle of the night! Luckily for us, both times it's happened so far have been at nap time, not bed time.

We have the Motorola baby monitor and for the past few nights it has been losing signal between 3-4am. Anytime it loses signal it starts beeping so it has been waking me up! Anyone else experience issues with their monitor? Ours is around 3 years old now, so it's probably out of warranty coverage. :-(

I'm wondering if there is something at home that is interfering with the signal too because it drops the signal intermittently.
