Thank goodness LO isn't at that age yet. She's currently crawling around in her crib while she's supposed to be napping.... but she'll fall asleep with no help from me.

@brownie: same here!

I have tried it for naps but she never falls asleep anyway. Sometimes she lets me sleep for a few minutes if I am lucky.

Little S is like that these days too. I go in to check on her and she has a million stories to tell me. While the baby cries in the next room because she has decided to spurn everyone but me. And Little S goes "baby? crying?" in a completely unconcerned tone.

Yes. My sons only a year and the other day I took a nap Ob the floor of his room while he played.

Today I was putting Charlie down and he insisted that he didn't want to go to bed. Whenever I listen to him, he stays up for hours... plus today he only got an hour nap since he had to get a haircut.

So I stayed firm and locked the door to Charlie's room (I stayed in there). Then I pretended to be asleep while he rampaged for hours. Ok ok, he just begged me to take him downstairs to play for about 30-45 minutes. It felt like hours though!

Finally he asked me to change him into his blue sleep sack (??) and then he settled down. Eventually, he fell asleep and I was able to slip out of the room.

Anyone else have to go through something like this? I seriously feel like I aged a month in just one day!
