@mrs. wagon: I agree with @LAGS. Find some good quality white spray paint. It will go on a lot easier than regular paint. OMG I tried painting letters last weekend and thought I was going to go ballistic, I can't imagine painting a chair!

Just make sure you get some painters tape and tape off all parts evenly that you don't want painted. I bet it will look great when you're done! If you want tips on spray painting, it's something we do all the time in my house, so just ask. :)

I repainted and reupholstered our glider. It was definitely worth it, it turned out really well. My only advice would be spray painting the base (gliding part) of the chair if you can find matching finishes. It can be done with brushes/rollers, that's how I did it, but would be way less of a pain that way.

We have a fabulous hand-me-down glider and ottoman that I'd love to make over. The fabric is in good condition (I think they re-covered the ottoman, and the chair is ok) but the wood is wood-colored and our nursery has all white furniture. After some research online, if we can figure out how to take the cushions off, I think it's as simple as sanding the wood/finish, priming, and painting with small rollers and brushes. I think this would be a great little DIY project to do for Lil Miss Wagon... especially since her nursery will just be Wagon Jr.'s old nursery.

Has anyone done this before? Any advice?
