It also tasted really smooth. Sadly, I moved to a different city last year, and haven't had it since. I considered buying one myself, then got pregnant. My DH is obsessed with different coffee brewing methods and this is one if my favorites for taste. Make sure you get a kitchen scale to weigh the grinds if you don't have one already. I gave my husband one last Christmas... More labor intensive then the French press in that you have to pour the water slowly into the filter so, for me, it's my weekend cup of coffee. We have not tested it out yet because it is wrapped up under the tree, but I have watched some YouTube videos on how to use it. Just wondering if anyone has used one of these, and if you like it.</p> <p>We have several different kinds of coffee makers already (a regular drip coffee maker, a French press, and a moka pot). How does the coffee from the Chemex compare to these coffee makers? </p>
