@Lindsay05: we always tell our parents there's no reason to be checking a temp unless you have a reason. It could just be a fluke if she's acting fine. Did you check it rectally?

Yes, at her first ped appt (so 3 days old or so?) she was around 100.0. They made us stay in the office until it dropped, which it did, fairly soon. It seemed to me like she was overheated and maybe thirsty? I just breastfed endlessly I think.

@Ash: She has been acting completely normal, maybe a smidge unsettled. Been eating well and still wets diapers.

@lamariniere: Ok, thanks for your reply. I will keep monitoring and any change at all i will bring her in.

I'm in Austria, so things are a little different here, but our ped said anytime it is over 99 before she is 2 months, take her to the hospital. Glad we finally got to 3 months with no incident!

I agree but what's the reason you checked it? Is she acting abnormal?

What did you do?

LO who is 7 weeks old, has had around a 100 degree fever for about 6 hours now. I called the nurses and they said anything over 100.4 to bring her in.
