The toy stores are much smaller and the items are usually twice as expensive. ME!!!!! And I was just talking to my GF about this too, as she is cleaning out her DS's toy box! I try to go through DS's toy box every few months and clean out the toys he doesn't play with anymore, but they still seem to collect! With Christmas coming, I did do a major clean out, and had DS help me. I think it was actually good for him because we talked about how others don't have toys and could use them and that in order to get new toys, he had to get rid of old ones. He wanted to get rid of everything after that! </p> <p>A great idea I have heard of is to get like 3 bins, and seperate your child's toys into them. Let them keep one of the bins out, and then every 4 months, switch the bins, giving them one of the bins that has been put away, and putting away the bin that was out. DS only has a few things he likes to play with but with each of those we have literally tubs full of toys!</p> <p>He has like 3 tubs full of train tracks... which have actually lasted him since he was like 3 so it's paid off quite well.</p> <p>Legos &amp; cars GALORE and now every superhero imaginable.</p> <p>I REALLY wanna get rid of some things but he seems to play with the all still. They only play with a few toys at once.
