If you became pregnant while waiting they would put the adoption on hold. I however got pregnant right after placement and it had no affect on our adoption/finalization. I think that there is some thought that it's hard enough to adjust to one situation, let alone two totally different dynamics. I know that I really appreciated the individual time I had with my babies. I know that agencies are only trying to do what is best for kids, but it seems like some of the rules are a little over-the-top. Especially when there are so many kids in need of good homes. Especially in Utah where people have babies one right after another. To back it up we started our foster process in March, magically got pregnant in June and still want to foster while pregnant. Or even straight up adopt. But I guess that isn't an option so back to the fostering we will try. Just venting :) </p>
