I only wish I had done it sooner but I was so afraid. I had it done a year before we started TTC bc. The thought of dealing with my glasses or contacts with middle of the night feedings and taking care o a newborn was the deciding factor and I am so glad I had it done before having a baby. I'm really squeamish with my eyes (couldn't even wear contacts), but I sucked it up and it wasn't even that bad!! They all loved it. I didn't start needing glasses until I was 25, and that was long after my family got it. I guess I just don't mind wearing glasses though.
