Plus even if the tests were from the same batch your FMU wasn't. You may have had a lot less water in it with the first test. Don't assume the worst! The one thing that always helped me in these first scary weeks was to focus on diets and a meal plan and trying to get in any good calories as I could before I started feeling crappy. I keep trying to tell myself that there is literally nothing I can do to change the outcome and what happens will happen. This happened to me and I freaked. I had very dark wondfos when I first started testing and I decided to take a test before my first midwife appt at 8 weeks just to "see". Well it was barely there. I called my midwife and she had me do a beta even though I did not have any cramping or bleeding. Everything was perfect. She made me promise not to test anymore!! I'm 11 weeks today. The long trend was to get darker and darker, but, there was some variability from day to day. Around 12-13dpo, I couldn't tell what they were doing and I thought they were getting lighter. I totally understand the anxiety because I lost my first pregnancy (later on, but still).
