I like it, but it does make the back a bit heavy. We started dear son in the front mount iBert, but I felt way too off balance and unstable with him on it after just a few months. You will get much more longevity out of a rear mount seat and, depending on the model, it can be used for quite some time.</p> <p>As for trailers, I have personally never tried one. My husband and I are looking at bikes and it was one of the things I asked about at the bike shop this weekend. The man there said he finds the trailers way safer (I don't know if this is actually true.) A big plus is the ability to store things in the bike trailer-- like produce from the farmer's market. You have to ride frog legged to be able to pedal because where your knees would go up, they hit the seat.</p> <p>I would say something behind you for sure.. We ride around a ton. I'd like to get a seat for my bike and leave the trailer for my husband, but it works beautifully. There doesn't seem to be one that is obviously better than the other, and it seems to depend on so many things.</p> <p>I'd like to use it for weekend bike rides (on trails/paths) and maybe biking to the farmer's market or any nearby destination.</p> <p>Does anyone have one? Any comments on your experiences? </p>
