I have it and love it! Haven't used it with 2 seats just yet but we have the bassinet option and just adore it so far. Easy to push, glides up hills and folds pretty small. We love it!

We have it for our twins and love it. The basket is huge, it's easy to maneuver, and the stadium seating arrangement (one of many seating options, but probably the most common), is awesome and keeps battles over toys and "he's touching me'" -type crap to a minimum. Also, you can fit through doorways...which is huge is you have ever gotten wedged in a Subway entry door at lunch . Ahem.
Cons...folding it is a PITA. You get fast at it, but it does take time. Also it doesn't come with a cup holder, and the one you can buy as an accessory is kinda flimsy. If you are a runner, it does have a fixed wheel option, but you can't *really* run with it. Ironic, because it's made by Baby Jogger :)
I totally vote for it.

@mrs lion: we have Chicco key fit. It's just wide to stretch my arms over. But again I'm petite- only 5'0". My husband who is much taller doesn't have a problem.

our son was also 16m when son#2 was born. our story is exactly the same as @mamat wrote -- city mini first, then city select.

at first I thought it was annoying to break down the whole city select everytime (a civic coupe, so small trunk), but I got used to it and now I'm a pro :)

we also live in the suburbs and use it for the same reasons as you stated above. we like it a lot!

we were sold after test driving both the city mini double and the select. it just felt better. :)

be warned though, the basket can still be a bit annoying to get to when both seats are in -- depending on the configuration it can block the basket. however, the basket is stretchy and has zippers on both front and back, so it is still reachable, albeit not as convenient. :)

We have the City a Select for our twins as well. It is a great stroller, handles very nicely and I love that there are multiple configurations for the seats, plus the bottom basket is big. The main con for me is that it is a pain to fold up. We don't do it that often bc we live in the city and don't have a car but if we did, that would be annoying.
Can answer any other questions, I definitely prefer my 'stretch limo' to a side-by-side stroller, those things take up the entire sidewalk and wouldn't fit in our elevator or doorway, lol!

@emg86: I have the Baby Jogger City Select double for my 20 months g/g twins and that thing is my life.

Once the girls transitioned to the toddler seats we no longer traveled via air w/ it, we got the Maclaren Twin Techno.

For around town DH prefers the Maclaren but for me I NEVER take the Maclaren I always take the City Select.

If you have any specific questions don't hesitate asking

I've been using the City Select for 8 weeks now and I love it. Having used the City Mini with my first son, I at first wanted the City Mini Double but after test driving it, the side-by-side was too much for me to maneuver. The basket on the City Select is amazing! It doesn't feel a whole lot longer than the City Mini. I walk with it nightly up many hills and have no problem pushing it through different terrain. My only complaint is that it doesn't fold as easy as the single strap of the City Mini. I'm rather petite and have a hard time reaching over the car seat adaptor to pull up both sides. My husband however does not see this as an issue. I assume it will be easier for me when we no longer use the car seat adaptor.

I test drove it and I liked the GT double (side by side) more. The select was really long and hard to maneuver when it was in double mode.

It definitely has a better basket than my GT!

We are going to go look at double strollers tomorrow. I think I prefer the City Select over the City Mini double because my biggest complain about our single City Mini is getting to the basket at the bottom. I HATE THAT THING! Anyone have one? Pros and cons to share? It will be for a new baby and young toddler (she'll be 16m when he arrives), we live in the 'burbs so mostly for play dates, parks and Target trips whenever I feel brave enough to leave the house :-)
