Haha just noticed this! I LOVE my techno xt stroller! I don't drive so I walk everywhere and the thing is basically my car. It's taken such a beating and it still works so well. I know you'll enjoy it.

I have that exact one and it's pretty awesome. A bit heavy but still a pretty awesome and slim double stroller. Although I don't use it often now (doorways are more narrow in Asia) I can see myself using it often in the states. I flew both of my boys overseas twice within a year using that stroller and it has held up through all the gate checks...and you know how they just throw those strollers! I had to grease all the hinges b/c it was tight when it was new, and I would recommend using a silicone spray (instead of wd-40) if you feel like folding it is a bit on the tight side. It works great on the wheels as well. You'd be surprise at what a huge difference it makes once wheels are greased. Mine glides really nicely. I'd go for it for $60! I got mine for a good price ($210) new online somewhere a while back. Haven't seen it for that price since. It's usually closer to $300 on those deal sites.

I have the double twin techno- got it for $90 at Marshall's and figured that for that price, I would make sure it works! I have only used it once with LO and her cousin for a long mall trip and thought it was fine. It's definitely harder to steer than our single stroller, but I imagine most doubles are. It's pretty easy to fold/unfold once you get the hang of it and slim enough to fit through a normal door if you have good aim. The storage baskets are decent sized and I really like the brake. Kind of heavy, but I can only compare it with our single B-Agile. LO #2 is due in November so I figure we won't use it much until next spring, but for $60 I would totally go for it! I do need to find a good organizer for it...I'll be sad if there are no cupholder options. It comes with bottle holders but not cup ones for you, just FYI.

@stargal: I have a single techno that we I don't love, but it works well for airports and traveling. We did have a double techno for our nanny share that we sold because our nanny hated it. We bought a Joovy double stroller that she says is great.

ETA: I would not feel comfortable putting a baby in my McClaren until at least 6-7 months. There is no support.

I have a single triumph and I like it for travel and the school run (bc we take a taxi to school and it's easy to throw the stroller in the trunk, then use it to walk home). However, My biggest pet peeve about a single Maclaren is that you can't steer it one handed because it has two handles rather than a bar. I'd imagine maneuverability is even worse on a double. I'm leaning away from any maclaren model for my double simply for this reason.

That said, if you're ok with not being able to "drive" one handed, I think Maclarens are the best umbrella strollers out there. And $60 is an amazing deal!

I would that it depends how you are going to use it. It's hard to manuever and kind of unweildy, so I would want something more substantial as my every day stroller. But it's great for things like airports.

I'm looking to buy the double maclaren twin techno stroller, just wondering if anyone has this stroller and liked it? I found an amazing deal (60 bucks!) on a used one and thinking about taking the plunge and buying it.
