The initial herb kit all grew nicely and I thought they tasted fine. I bought organic seeds for my next round and planted them in the grow pods and they also grew nicely. I did google it and some people said for things like cucumbers, it needs to be grown at a certain condition or else it will taste bitter and bad. So it could be the way it is grown in water and not soil. My other sister started hers right after and mine is still in the box. We moved at the beginning of the year then went on vacation, so there wasn't a need to start it up. </p> <p>I need to get it out and start growing something. </p>
