My DH has a savings account with Discover and likes it a lot. I think AmEx is as good as any out there. I'm really happy with their service for other products. The reason I went with Sallie Mae is because when you enroll in their UPromise plan (which is 100% free) and make eligible purchases, your cash-back goes directly into your savings account. It’s not tons of money, but a little bit of free-money on purchases I would already be making never hurts.
