The original was bought in 2008 and the screen went bad on it towards the end of the 3 year warranty so I got a brand new computer for free. ;) The current computer works great still, but I haven't updated the OS at all b/c I don't want to mess with my Adobe programs.<br /> The computer I have at home I bought used off a facebook garage sale sight for $600. I bought it certified refurbished from the online apple store. It works great but if I ever get a glitch (rarely) I immediately think I should have bought brand new. But seriously it is fine. I am absolutely a mac person. I have a 21.5 inch 1.4 ghZ intel core with a HD Graphics 5000. I know they came out with a newer model though.
