But you said in the other thread that your doctor does an ultrasound at every visit so really they'd know if your cervix was shortening. I was never checked this early last pregnancy. I am wondering if I will be dilated or effaced at all. </p> <p>Were you checked this early at all? Were you already starting to efface/dilate? </p> <p>It's my 2nd so I don't know if you normally start all that earlier or if it's about the same.. </p>
