Thanks for all the input ladies!

@Bluebonnet: it looks like you're right that the cups aren't compatible with the freestyle. I'm not sure what my insurance would cover but it looks like the freemie does come with it's own pump in some instances. I wonder if it's any good...

@gotkimchi: ha how weird! It must be Breast size/shape because I have no problem with my horns and a hands free bra and the freemie worked great once I figured out that I needed another pumping bra to hold them on tight lol

@jetsa: yep I just use a nursing tank! I feel like my medela flanges I really had to hold on tightly! Maybe it's all about fit and breast size/shape

@gotkimchi: you get hood auction in just a nursing tank? I had to wear a pumping bra on top of the cups to get good auction.

@Mrs. Lion: I haven't had any problems! If I'm soing compressions I will hold the cup in place with one hand and compress with the other. I MUCH prefer the freemie to the traditional pump. Once I lost a piece to the freemie cups and had to go back to my regular one and I was miserable!

@gotkimchi: ooh really? And you don't lose suction? I might reconsider then! I read on their website that you couldnt. I'll have to do some more research :)

I'm using it right now! I have a medela pump and just use the freemie cups and I love it!! I like it because I just wear a nursing tank everyday and can pop the cups in when I pump! Hands free, no changing into a weird bra and everything's covered up. Super nice since I've been walked into pumping at work before in a locked room. I also seem to get more using these. They were also really nice at home because I could still play with lo while pumping. I use them in the car every single day and can go through the drive thru if I want with no one noticing. I've also used them at a bachelorette dinner and no one paid any attention! So I love them!

I looked into it because it is one of my free options this time, but decided against it because you can't massage at the same time, and I feel that massage is a necessity. It is a really cool idea though.

I used it for a snowmobiling trip when my son was 4 months old. It was great for that purpose but I felt that I got less milk than with my PISA so I wouldnt use it all the time. I just used my PISA with the freemie collection cups.

Here's an older thread about them. It has my full review in it. http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/freemie-collection-cups-anyone-have-these

I don't have experience with the freemie, but the concept intrigued me, so I did some research about six months ago.

Freemie makes a pump, but they also make collection kits that work with several different pumps (including some Medela models). I also have a Freestyle, but I learned that the Freemie isn't compatible with the Freestyle (or at least it wasn't 6 months ago).

I have a Freestyle that I used with my daughter, so I hadn't planned on getting another pump. The LC that I saw this week was recommending that I get the Freemie (would be covered under ACA) because it would be easier to pump at work.

Has anyone used the Freemie?

Does the company make their own pump or is it just the collection cups that would connect to the Medela pump? I'm a little confused.
