He was indifferent for a long time and then was scared of it for a bit. At about 9 months he fell in love with Scout and it spends almost all its time in the crib. Like @lemondrop: he pushes the buttons before he falls asleep and plays with him when he wakes. Nothing super fancy, but C and Scout have conversations all the time on their own. I wish we had gotten him so much sooner (especially around the 10 month bedtime wars), it is the closest thing to a lovey that C has gotten into.
