I want to get this eventually when we transition J out of his crib. I want the kids to bunk it, and I love the small footprint.

We are planning on getting this for our daughter. will buy 2 mattresses and have it set up as a loft bed first and put the second mattress on the bottom as a floor bed. then flip it when she is ready for that and then flip it again to loft it when she is ready for that!

I'm considering this bed because DD's room is so small. I've seen some really nice hacked versions, but I'm a little worried because she's such a wiggle worm - I'm afraid she'll fall out!

we had one hoping the kids could share, but olive is such a bad climber that it didn't work for her.

but for charlie it was great! his room just was too small though and the bed took up a lot of space. it's a tiny room -- the bed itself has a pretty small footprint.

We're looking at buying the Kura bed for LO1 (20mo) to transition to as his big boy bed before LO2 arrives. We have small bedrooms and thought it'd be a great use of space when he's older and we flip it to the loft. There aren't a lot of reviews online so I was hoping some Bees could help me out. I was the one that really wanted it but now that DH gave me the okay I'm afraid to pull the trigger and buy it.
