I wouldn't interpret too much from it. In my experience a jump of 0.3 degrees isn't significant after ovulating. my temperature would waver between 98.2-98.7 in the days past ovulation. When it hit above 98.8, then my chat started looking triphasic, and maybe coincidentally or maybe not, I was pregnant. The jump in your chart looks big because you don't have the temperature data pre ovulation.

@MrsMccarthy: I've had triphasic charts without being pregnant. I don't think it always means anything. What means the most is that your temp stays up.

@MrsMccarthy: I think some people are more sensitive to hot weather than others, so it definitely could just be the hot weather making your temps go up. Either way, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

@MrsMccarthy: Yeah, I had mild cramping and pinching each cycle too, but when it's followed by a temp rise, I get my hopes up! And I didn't "feel" pregnant either. I really don't think you can tell based on symptoms since most symptoms can be pregnancy OR AF related. Do you know if hot weather has affected your temps in the past at all?

@Adira: yeah. I have mild cramping and pinching every cycle! hahah. If my instincts count this isnt it because my body feels tired but mostly not pregnant. I also worry because my temp rise has coincided with some very hot weather. We have a fan but no AC.

@MrsMccarthy: It certainly looks like it could be triphasic, though I know many women have triphasic charts without being pregnant, so it doesn't necessarily mean something. The worst part of TTC is that you just have to wait and you don't REALLY know what's happening until you get a definitive answer.

Did you have any cramping or pinching prior to this most recent temp rise?

I reinstated my dicarded temps to give you guys a clear picture but my O date should be around CD16 or 17 the latest based on OPKs and cm. I typically have a dip the day before ovulation. My temping hasnt been perfect though. I move a lot in my sleep. Typically in the past my coverline was in the 97s so thats what i imagine it would have been.

Mine went up when I was pregnant. I think a lot of women experience this - it's called a triphasic chart.

Do you have a chart you can link? I'm not sure I'm understanding what you're asking. But I've had my temps go up after ovulation and then AGAIN around 8-10 DPO, making my chart triphasic. For me, it meant I was pregnant. Hoping this is the case for you!!! <3

Example: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/38ea73/

It could be that you have a triphasic chart (http://infertility.about.com/od/tryingtoconceive101/qt/triphasic_chart.htm)

But because you only started temping the day before O, your charting AP is probably thinking the second rise is your O. The apps use a "3 over 6" approach to establish crosshairs...there should be three temps higher than the previous 6.

Late in their cycle? My temp went from 98.3 at ovulation and in that range to 98.5 and today 98.6 at 8 and 9 DPO whixh is today. Why is my temp going up now? I had to discard the temps to keep my crosshairs because I only started temping the day before ovulation and no coverline was established. I am temping internally this month. It has been very warm here the past few days do that could factor in too. Anyone have experience with this?
