What did you focus on for your Master's? So my true love is archaeology, specifically Maya. (My favorite class was The Rise and Fall of the Maya.) But I also love cultural anthropology. I think it would be cool to see a comparison of family units in different cultures, or how different cultures raise their children. Here’s a very vague description from course catalog : Advanced students may conduct independent research under the supervision and guidance of members of the faculty. </p> <p>So basically I guess I get to choose a topic with my advisor/professor and research it. Obviously I’ll talk to the professor in the Fall, but just wanted to informally get some ideas right now! What did you do? Any interesting ideas? </p>
